NAIDOC Week
Last term our Aboriginal Education Officer ran a cultural experience for all of our classes to celebrate NAIDOC week. We celebrated with a variety of cultural activities. Students used clap sticks and ochre and made necklaces and hunted for shells. They also enjoyed sampling wallaby stew, damper and sausages. Thank you so much to our amazing Aboriginal Education Officer, Tania who spent so much time preparing for the day. She was well supported by some of our Aboriginal students who loved sharing their culture with peers. It was fantastic!
