The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra (TSO) came to our school to do a program called The Percussion Project with our 3/4 classes.
We would like to say an enormous thank you to the TSO for the session and to Bell Bay Aluminium for their donation of percussion instruments.
We recently had a visit by the Governor! Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC Governor of Tasmania toured some of our school and visited 5/6 Timms to talk with students and view their robotic work. The visitors were extremely impressed with the school and the student work they observed and were reluctant to leave.
We celebrated the end of 2023 with our annual Presentation Assembly last week. A big thank you to our current student leaders for hosting the event and to our 2024 leaders who assisted with welcoming special guests. Both grade 5/6 classes contributed to the assembly with a performance and video.
