National Simultaneous Storytime

Teachers and students all around Australia settled down last Tueday at 11am for National Simultaneous Storytime! Our 1/2 students went to the George Town Library to read The Speedy Sloth by award-winning creators Rebecca Young and Heath McKenzie. We joined staff from George Town Library and Bell Bay Aluminium to read together. 
After listening to The Speedy Sloth students had a wonderful time with some craft activities. They even got to take home their very own copy of the book! Thank you so much to Bell Bay Aluminium for supporting this event.
