Last week we had Mawson's Huts Foundation Mobile Antarctic Classroom come to our school. Our grade 3- 6 students were shown the fascinating world of Antarctic animals and plants. Beginning with Mawson’s Australasian Antarctic Expedition of 1911-1914, they explored the who, what, how, and why of Antarctic wildlife research through exciting stories, fascinating facts, interesting equipment, and hands-on activities.
