A very big thank you to the George Town Library and Bell Bay Aluminium for inviting us to their National Simultaneous Storytime event that was held on the 21st May. Students listened to Bell Bay Aluminium General Manager, Richard read 'The Truck Cat' by Deborah Frenkel and Danny Snell and then made their own colourful Tinka the cat or butterfly character. It was a wonderful event that we look forward to every year and is made even more special by the kind donation of a copy of the book to every child in each of the classes that attended. Thank you so much Bell Bay Aluminium for this very kind donation. Our students are loving the quality literature that we have been purchasing for Home Reading and now they have their very own copy of a lovely book to keep.
